Hello,

I had an issue with my old EX 485 running v2.5 and HP replaced it with a refurbished unit. The new unit works perfectly for me, I just have 1 minor issue that I hope one of you guys can answer.

I use the HP Client on the Mac to occasionally wake up the WHS. Since the new unit has a different MAC id, the "Wake up" feature does not work anymore. I am not sure where the MAC id is stored for me to modify it to reflect the new one. Does anybody here have any thoughts on what I can do to get my WOL to work properly using the native HP client?

Thanks,
gundan

I wonder if the solution is to simply reinstall the software on your MAC then if your right about the MAC Address being the issue I would beleive it might correct itself once the software is reinstalled. Personally I never put any of my servers or clients to sleep but thats just my prefrence and not yours.
