I ran through the HP software upgrade for my 485 box without any difficulty. After completing the upgrade however, I am unable to configure my media collector.

Clicking on the feature via the console brings up the home page for media collector, but every time I click on "Configuration" to set it up crashes stating that the program malfunctioned. Has anyone else run into this? I ran the Server Recovery again but experienced the same problem. See screenshots below.

After crashing, Screenshot 4 stays permanently that way. I am unable to view/access any of the other features under "MediaSmartServer" tab unless I reboot my server of install an add-in(which causes the server to refresh)

Click on "Restart the application" or "More Information" does not even register.

Your help is appreciated

Check the Application Event Viewer on the server for errors that might give an indication of the problem. I don't recall seeing this issue before.

I already did this but couldn't deduce anything out of the information provided. It also directs me to http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp. but the search returns with 0 results

This is the full Output.

It looks like something is bad in the configuration, I'd probably try to reset that. There's some instructions in this post that may help.
