Not sure I would be in too big a hurry - version 3.0 still has a number of annoying bugs.

It might be better if they wait for a better/fixed release.

I spoke with HP MediaSmart Server support today (2-9) and was told it will be out sometime in or around the March time frame and will be available as an optional upgrade. The fee is expected to be about $25.00

The only thing new in your statement is 'March'. It was supposed to be December, then February... Now March?

I got my set of the new V3.0 disks for the EX480 series today!!!

So it is out now!!!!

I haven't even had a chance to try it yet...
