So I've been trying to get the Power Pack 3 update for my EX485, but I can't seem to pull it down... is it not compatible with the EX485?

It's compatible with any Windows Home Server install, normally the updates don't apply if you don't meet a pre-req, and the most common one for Power Packs is that a beta one is installed. Can you let us know the versions you have as per the Wiki?

I rebuilt my EX485 yesterday to give to my daughter. After the factory reset, I had to reboot several times. One was to install PP2 and a later one was to install PP3. I manually checked for update through the console until no more were found.

Apparently I all ready had it, though I don't recall having run updates in well over a month. Oh well, looks like it did it all on it's own.

Thanks!

I think you are correct. My EX485 had previously rebuilt itself using Microsoft's Automatic Updates without any intervention on my part. Yesterday when I reloaded the OS... I had to do it all over again... and that is when I did the multiple re-boots.
