Yes, you can control the fans with speedfan on an EX485. You have to go into config, then to advanced, bring up the sch5127 chip and set fan1 zone and fan2 zone to manually controlled. Then have at it.

Gracias, señor. I was wondering how to adjust the fan speeds. I've now got them down to a quieter level, while maintaining a healthy temperature for my EX487.

I sold a buddy of mine my EX475...he commented that the fans were loud and I suggested SpeedFan. Are the settings the same for the EX475?

Don't know, never had the need on the 470 with alex's add-in but I do know I couldn't get it working on the EX490.
