You will need to set it in bios

Is it consistenly running slow when you put load on the system. I suspect it's just intel speed step - when there is no load the system steps down the processor to run on less voltage and when you load it up it will come up to the rated speed. It's a good thing because it generates less heat and uses less electricity. Watch aida64 and open the console and see if it bumps up. There is no setting in bios other than to turn off speed step.

found the solution, you have to update the bios and set the speed step to 0. it doesn't turn off the speed step it just unlocks it so the cpu can actually ramp up.

follow this guid to update the bios

Hey fellas, I followed that guide but am still having issues being stuck at 1.2ghz and a 6x multiplier, the proc doesn't even ramp up under load. I think my problem is that the version of AFUWIN I used is 4.48 and it did not allow me to choose "Load Rom File's Optimal", so I don't know that my settings were actually selected on boot. FYI, the rom values for PECI are 00 and 00 (I have the SLAY version of the e5200) and Speed Stepping is 00 and 00. Just for kicks I tried PECI at 01 01 but had the same result. I also made sure to reboot an extra time after each change to try to make sure they were recognized. Does anyone have a copy of AFUWIN 4.42 so i can see that if that version will allow me to Load ROM File's Optimal when I flash the rom? I'm itching to unlock the full proc power. Thanks!

Edit: I should also note that I am unable to select any checkbox under CMOS Options, the checkboxes don't even show up to select.
