Can you use the recovery disk (2.0) to build the home server data files or does it require that some bit of data is left on one of your hard drives? I want to do a factory reset, by taking my system drive, totally reformatting it on my client PC, plugging it back in, and then using the recovery disk. At the bottom of the disk it says "For recovery of an existing pre-installed image only." Just kind of curious if there are some underlying drivers that remain on the system, or will all drivers be installed from the CD. Thanks.

A Factory Reset will erase all drives connected to your server and place a fresh OS on the system drive. Does that answer your question, or am I not understanding some part of it?
