I have for quite some time now, rtied to find a addin or software thast creates a media portal , more like the beta vail. that gives you the option to stream video files like vail does to specified users logged into the server .

With that i mean stream over http: and not the network .

Does anyone know of such a addin or a software that does this ?
does one eksist ?

Hope to hear your thoughts on the subject.

Orb and maybe Subsonic work well in that scenario.

Twonky also works and has an Android client if that is required...
