I have a Western Digital TV Live Media Player and for some reason the Server is not accepting my credentials/password information to allow for full access to my Server. Does anybody know if there is a compatibility issue with these 2 devices? Also, even if i don't enter my password information i'm still able to view some folders on my server, so my anonymous user with no passord setting is allowed. How do i disallow that username with no passord on my mediaSmart?

The public folder should always be visible and accessible (standard setting in WHS), I think.
Maybe upper/lower case problem?
Maybe a problem with special characters in the share's name?

Are you using the Admin login? or guest? or did you create an account specifically for WDTV Live?

Edit: Under User Accounts, Disable Guest.

I use the WD TV Live with my WHS I do not recall which account I used to connect to the server from the unit I may have used my own User Account name and password but its been along time since I set it up. It does work thats all I can say.
