ok took the plundge and installed java and Air Video. Runs ok (actually better then I anticipated). I do have some issues that I need help with. After installing the java part I noticed my console would freeze up quite a bit. I have since lost connection to my Remote management pages outside my home network.

Could these 2 things be related? I agree that the CPU does take a hit with this software. I can still stream even though I can no longer connect to my server from outside

Did you make any changes to your router port forwarding settings?

Having an issue getting Air Video to load as a service. Error 1068 refers to dependencies not loading; none are set on the service; dependancy tab is blank. Bonjour is loaded. Java quickstarter is loaded. Do I need to set up Bonjour and Java as dependencies to get this to start?

Screen shot in PNG file below.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance, guys...

Jim

OK solved services issue by deleting the services and installing using the following post on the AirVideo forum:

Worked like a charm now I have this up and running. Will evaluate and advise!
