There is an excellent article over on ZDNet that talks about how Apple is using iTunes to push through additional applications. One particularly interesting note, the iPhone Configuration Utility that Apple pushes (even if you don't own an iPhone) adds an Apache install to your machine which leaves you with a web server running on that machine...

Now THAT is just inviting problems....!

When I upgrade to W7 later this month I think I will be leaving iTunes and all other Apple applications off the new build. It's too easy to accidentally install what I do not want!
