Hi everyone. Has anyone been able to use the hp I stream media server app in iOS 8? Works fine in ios7 but I had to reinstall the app from iCloud, and I am having a wierd glitch with the keyboard on the settings screen. I can type but once I click the "go" key the app freezes doesn't respond and doesn't search for any servers. I have already reinstalls on an older iOS 7 device with no problems so have isolated the issue to iOS 8 or the app. Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions? Maybe even another app that I can use to stream music photos and videos with installing anything else on server? Thanks! |

I tried to pull it up and it looks like it's no longer offered. I get "the item you've requested is not currently available in the U.S. store." You could probably get it because you had it on your account already, so iCloud makes it available. But I couldn't find it in the store, so I googled it and tried to pull it up in the App Store via the browser. This launches iTunes and requests the item directly--and yields the error that it's not available. If memory serves me right, the app hadn't been updated in a long time. I think once HP bowed out of the MediaSmart market, they let iStream die on the vine. Matt |
