Well they have changed the hardware a bit.
Now there is only one model instead of two and it is available in the USA.
Has built in wifi and a remote
So I ordered one today.
Still waiting on delivery date confirmation.

Anybody tried one yet?

I got mine a week ago.
was $119.00
it is not as clean cut as the picture implies.
Comes with a remote and a ir receiver that must be connected .
it has a external wifi antenna plus a eithernet port.
Also a micro sd card slot (I don't have one to test)
a short 6" hdmi gender changer pigtail to plug it in and then a multi tap usb that is needed to power up the connect.
It also has a ac adapter both for us and europe if you don't use the usb port on a host.
and it has a composite connection adapter cable. I have not tried it yet.
I have a old tube tv to tri it on.

So when you plug it into the tv you have the connect with a hdmi cord,a usb cord ,a eithernet cord, the wifi antenna and the ir receiver cord.

Seems to play fine I have not tried 3d yet.

One thing I noticed is most all the existing apps are for the uk still, like youtube.ru etc so they are useless to me unless I understand Russian
The manual is almost useless.
And the wifi gain is very poor .
I cleaned the antenna port because I could not get a signal at all, then finally got a wifi signal.

The firmware is up to date.
I was hoping there might be one for usa users.
but noting I see
