So far, both of my Dunes have been solid. However, I am changing the way I rip my movies. I no longer use BR Folder Structure with ClownBD. I'm still using the folder structure from ClownBD, but I do the extra step, and use the MPLS file with MKVMerge GUI to make a MKV file, which keeps that chapters as well. This way lets me flag the force subs if needed.

When you run CLown_BD you should have a chapters.txt file created as well. In MKVMerge just add that text file in and you get the chapters (this is what I do). The trick is you I think you have to do this under the Global tab (you cant drag and drop like the audio/video/sub files)

I feel more comfortable using the MPLS file since all the information is right there. I don't have to add anything to it.

Yeah, the way I run I don't get the mpls file (when I run Clown_BD I have the tsMuxer option shut off so no folder structure, there is no need for the added time since I will just be taking the output files and throwing into MKVMerge)

May be it is time to revise the way of ripping + forced subtitles how to?

I may have to revisit, but don't think anything has changed, at least with my Clown_BD + mkvmerge guide (aside from the original guide referencing BDSup2Sub step). When I have some free time I can look closer at, or maybe just document the next mkv I put together.

I was thinking of writing a "how to" as well, but I don't think mine would looks as nice as yours

Ok after spending approximately 18 hours, I have finish making all of my BD folder structure rips to MKV with MKVMerge. I was able to do 7 movies at a time with MKVMerge, which helped speed up the process.

I'm still using ClownBD + MKVMerge. I tried using MakeMKV, but I had a few issues issues with several BDs having audio errors.

ClownBD + MKVMerge just always works for me, so I have had no reason to switch. The only time I use MakeMKV is for a DVD, tv episodes, or in the rare occasion a Blu Ray doesn't work with eac3to

Well, I just recently started using MakeMKV, and so far it has been working well. So, I will use ClownBD + MKVMerge whenever MakeMKV doesn't work.
