I tinkered around with the library manager in the meantime. Is there a connection between the two. Thought zones are only set on the i-pad. Or am I just seeing ghosts?

You setup your zones only on the iPad. Forget about the "Client IP" option on Library Manager if it confuses you, you don't need it. It was a feature request to quickly test if your scanned movie is playing on the client (although I've heard of people using Library Manager as a stand-alone app because of this feature).

Anyhoo...I am able to playback content now. Only the time slider does not work (incl. 5min. plus or minus). Anybody else seeing the same?

What firmware do you have on that Dune? Try to avoid beta firmwares, we had reports of API problems. Any stable should be ok.

For the slider thing I noticed that it does work for MKV files, but not for m2ts files. I am using the latest beta firmware (120202_1544_beta). Checked with latest stable firmware as far as I know (110606_1315) and result is still the same. Only difference is the container.

Hi Pafsanias,

Noticed that also trailers with .mov extension are not being picked up. When I rename them to eg. m2ts the LM picks them up correctly.

Cheers.

10Muse Library Manager 2.4.2 is up with 'Assistant' support for .mov files.

Yes, mov format was slipped from the Assistant. 2.4.2 resolves it. Thanks for reporting.

Hi Pafsanias,

Noticed a bug on the i-pad with Season numbering.

For series with more than 10 seasons (eg. The Simpsons, Southpark) the Season numbering on the top is incorrect.

In my case take The Simpsons: The order shown on the i-pad is --> 10, 11, 13, 14, 18, 19, 2, 20, 21, 22, 23, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9

Cheers

My guess it would probably need to sort seasons as 01, 02, 03, 04, etc...

Anyone else noticed that right clicking on any title is now crashing the LM hard. I have to use Task Manager to end the process tree to get the app to close.

^It looks like a reboot has solved the problem. Never mind for now.

Nope... happening again. Right-click is crashing the app.

I checked the 'context menu opening' code and there is nothing that could possibly be crashing except maybe the function that tries to determine the dropbox folder. Please try the following version and tell me if you now get a 'Message Box' instead of a crash.

Super! This is shaping to be the best app for movies hands down. Great job!

I hope I don't spoil the mood, but will there be a bug/feature request section somewhere in the near future? Just to coordinate a bit.

Edit:

Suddenly after the latest Dropbox update I did to add a few movies the app keeps crashing. It starts and shuts down immediately. I even deleted the app and re-instlled an loaded the whole library again, same result.

How can I test what the reason is?

You don't have to delete the app. With iTunes, just delete the files TVSeriesLibrary.s3db and MoviesLibrary.s3db from the app's Documents folder. Next version brings a setting (in the iPad Settings app) to 'reset' by deleting the database files.

You can email the above mentioned database file(s) to support@10muse.net so we can check what's happening.

I just checked and it does not happen to me. Tested with 2.4.2 and movies and shows.

This one seems to have fixed for now. Weird that the previous version would stop doing it on reboot. Must be my system.
