thanks to Killroy for testing.

Nice program. Trying to get the hang of it.
For me it's picking up .m2ts but no .ts files

thanks for the suggestion killroy, very impressive work. It looks similar to one of the first designs (dated back in May). The current design was found to be more practical.

Technically, one of the problems was the absence of the standard Apple's table (called UIViewTable). The scrolling speed and smoothness you get with the current design is because of the use of this particular control (which is the most used control in iOS SDK). Also a 1024 wide popover would never get Apple's aproval.

But I agree, as an option it would be benefitial for some, we 'll look into it.

I was not sure about the pop-up window for movie info but I thought I would put that in.

I was also trying to do a mock up of a split window with the info seen there and the large fanart picture that is on the second page.

I think the most important thing for people with very large collections is the full screen covers since it would make it a lot easier to scan through them...especially if you can format the covers into a portrait page. As much as I like the MyMovies app, the gap between the covers is a real waste of space and it limits the number of covers seen. Your method is a lot more efficient and it could look real good if you can figure out how to do 7 covers across in the portrait orientation.

Another option that would be very beneficial is a "Last added" sort. I think all the other apps have it and it is also very helpful on large collections.

Edit, it does pick up my .ts tv episodes in my tvshow folders.
Howevere not .ts files (movies) from my movie folders with help of the assistant. They aren't picked up after a folder scan.

Changing the extension .ts to .m2ts does work, but I would like to keep the .ts extension.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I just tested with a .ts movie and 10muse picked up fine (running 1.2.1.3). Can you post the exact folder name and file name?

Thanks, my first install was yesterday so I have 1.2.1.3 running.
My movies do have the same folder and file names.

For example this ones with assistant aren't picked up:
"\\Mart-htpc\e\M29\Get Carter (2000)\Get Carter (2000).ts"
"\\Mart-htpc\p\M12\Witness (1985) (eng)\Witness (1985) (eng).ts"

but this one works with adding the tv show manually:
"\\Mart-htpc\e\S07\Stargate Universe\Season 01\Stargate Universe.S01E02.1080p.blu-ray.ts"

BTW. I tried 10Muse just now on another W7 x64 PC and I got the same behaviour. So imho it looks like it's not pc related.

Sorry for the delay, you are right, .ts files slipped from the assistant. Corrected on 1.2.1.4

Damian and Killroy we can't reproduce your errors but try version 1.2.1.4 for a possible fix.

I like that. There is already an "Added" sorting option in 10Muse but it is about the time the media was copied to the server (the file's creation date). I guess you mean "Added to the Library" as the Library Manager list from bottom to top? This is definetely going to be added. You'll have to wait for the next iPad version though (maybe a week).

Wow thanks, that's blazing fast :wink:
I'm convinced now to buy, as 10Muse free is running really nice on my iPad.
Love the blazing fast gui, switching filters etc. I hope it will stay this way as I do have a big collection.

BTW... can you please put the version number on the .rar file (download link) so we can tell which version it is. Its a minor thing but it helps when trying to keep older versions on your drive and the newer version over-writes previous versions if we forget to "Save as" the link.
