With its recent addition of encryption in My Movies 4.0.2, I have to avoid the encryption at all costs. I have 4.0.1 installed on my system, but now my hard drive failed. I need to reinstall the system, but I don't have the original 4.0.1. installation files. I tried finding old versions on My Movies' website, but they don't seem to have the older versions on there.

Where can I still find 4.0.1. installation files? Does somebody here care to upload it somewhere? Much thanks!

Assuming you are talking about collection management.

I was thinking about upgrading. What does the encryption do? How does it effect My Movies?

I was wondering if anyone's got the link to the client version of 4.0.1? Thanks a lot!

Curious why you have to avoid, are you using MCM to create your mymovies.xml file for Media Browser?

I understand that, which you still can (I do). Are you relying on Media Browser using the My Movies generated xml file, so that is where the issue would be for you? I actually have metabrowser and My Movies Collection Management running, so I get covered for both. The other option for you would be to have Media Browser do its own scraping and not rely on the locally stored mymovies.xml

Thanks for the suggestion.

But I still prefer to just keep one set of data if possible. Sometimes, I make minor modifications to the XML files, and I prefer to only make those modification once.

Anyways, surely somebody must have a link the client version of My Movies 4.0.1?

OK, I simply took the 4.02 link and renamed "02" to "01". Hope this works for you...
