Guys,

I have a EX495 with 2003 on it. I use this to stream my movies to a playstation or other dvd players that connect to the network. I have a few 20-30 movies on the server but would like to get that Netflix look and feel. Currently I go to my PS3 and click on Movies, then media server, then I navigate to a folder and select a file name. I would really like to get the view of the jacket and possibly even categorize the movies. Any ideas on what software I need to do this? Is it possible? I dont want to get my movies on the server if I need to do it a different way.

Any help is appreciated!!!

Thanks
Ray

I have a Popcorn Hour C-200 and I use YAMJ (Yet Another Movie Jukebox) on my EX490. Here's a thread that seems to talk about how to get YAMJ up and running for the PS3. http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showt ... ?tid=35074

YAMJ basically builds a nice HTML/JavaScript based front-end for NMTs (networked media tanks) to browse against. YAMJ comes with "scrapers" that can examine what you have in the desired jukebox location and, based on keywords (i.e. filenames) will "scrape" various sources like IMDB for information.

I like having more control and the default auto scraper is hit or miss. So I use an application called Yanfoe, which scans your library and will do a default scrape for you. If there's a title where Yanfoe fetches the wrong info, you can help it out and have it re-fetch, or you can supply the fetch URL directly. Yanfoe will download artwork, actors/actresses, etc. Let Yanfoe do all the dirty work, then re-run YAMJ. YAMJ won't re-scrape for data supplied by Yanfoe, and you can have some pretty sweet menus.
