Does anyone use the Digital Copy that comes with alot of the blurays these days? I have always assumed that these files are riddled with DRM and that it would just be better to rip/convert my movies that I am going to store on the server. Is there are reason not to use these files?

I don't bother. Easier to rip the actual content than to use the DC. Also, the DC is much lower quality than the BR content... usually DVD-quality or worse.

I use them all the time. They are great for loading up the iPad with...no need to rip the movie if I have a usable digital copy. Usually, the ones that I get are 720p resolution.
