I need some help, and I am a newbie to this more complex stuff.

I am trying to get my EX470 to stream Music and Videos outside my network.
I would like to be able to access both libraries at my cottage via web.
I have the PVConnect installed but when i try to access it remotely it won't stream....where do you find the documentation on this stuff (all the forums pose the same challenge but no answers that I can find)
My MSS is older so am I trying to get a Pinto to go 200mph?

The RAM is upgraded to 2gb but CPU is stock.
WMC is on Vista x64 Home Premium in the house as the HTPC and I have a HDMI hub to send the signal to my monitor and the a LCD TV....that stuff works fine although the DVD Library loads are slow now that all 1500+ movies are on the MSS drives and not locally saved.
I want to be able to have access to the movies and audio like this outside my network at the cottage or for friends

HP Pavilion Elite 9250f - 1TB (Vista Home Premium x64)
HP Pavilion dv6700 - laptop - 320gb (Vista Home Premium x64)
2Wire2701HG-G router

The 1.3 software doesn't do remote media streaming, you need the 3.0 software for that. Or you can use another software package like Subsonic or Orb, a search will turn up more info on that.

Have you tried our Add-Ins?

Is it work doing the upgrade to 3.0 or the suggestions of your other two...?
What is easier and what will provide better results?

BTW, PVConnect is version 4.4.4 and I have the TwonkyManager 5.1 add-in but have not installed it...neither will make a difference will it...?
