Louis, tap on the movie cover. You will be presented with the fanart screen with the movie's Mediainfo and the 'Initiate Playback' buttons for the main movie and (or) trailer on the bottom right of the screen. No need to wake up the player, the movie should start playing even if the player is on standby.

Ok, I see that now but I tried in on a few different movies and I either got 'format not supported' or just a blank screen before it returned to the DUNE main menu. These are movie that I know play.

Seems to be a permissions problem again, this time between the Dune and your NAS.

The way I see it, you have 2 options:
1. Enable 'Guest' account on your NAS for your movie's shared folders.
2. Wait until Friday when version 2.6 will be released. The new version can send user credentials together with the movie's path.

This isn't currently a problem with My Movies so wondering what would be different here. I'll probably just wait until Friday.

Apple seems to be taking more time with this version than normally. It will be released as soon as Apple approves it.

You are not the only one.... Blogsy has also complained that their latest update is taking a lot longer.

I guess there was some sort of security flaw found in the in-App purchase process and they are trying to fix it.

Well, after some research it seems to be around 9 days instead of the usual 6. It's the 9th day today.

IMDb updated their app and the IMDb Link button now works OK with the IMDB app (and the corresponding option). For the pending version 2.6, that is.

Hi Pafsanias,

Would it be possible to change the download or update function in the LM to not re-download all Fanart/Banners/etc...

I know you can have it running unattended, but also only adding 1 episode takes a few minutes and actually the only LM needs to add is the episode image and corresponding info (synopsis, etc...), i.o downloading all images again.

Maybe have an option to toggle between update images only for episode/fanart/banners, etc. Or maybe limit the initial download to 3 or 5 images and then in case no images suit the users preferences let them choose a full update.

I think I have the folder file name requirement worked out but it doesn't seem quite right for TV Series.

I have the following that seems to work okay when I scan the server but I continue to get the Code 1 error: "The Borgias\The Borgias s01_e01.mkv". Do I need to change something or just ignore?

Also, I have a few TV Series that are low res VOB format and I don't bother changing these to mkv. How does 10Muse deal with these for TV Series?
Code 1: Downton Abbey S2\DOWNTON_ABBEY_S2_D3\VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS.IFO
Code 1: Downton Abbey S2\DOWNTON_ABBEY_S2_D2\VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS.IFO
Code 1: Downton Abbey S2\DOWNTON_ABBEY_S2_D1\VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS.IFO

As far as I know 10muse and every other similar program cannot handle these files, since there is no way for the program to scan and fetch episode info.

The only work around for this would be renaming them to include the season an episode numbers, eg disc 1 contains season 1 and episode 1 to 4, reaming them to S01E01-04. 10muse will probably fetch info for episode 1.

I have all my episode ripped to single files, so I cannot confirm. Maybe someone else can chime in.

Or have some patience and wait till Pafsanias rolls out the LM with custom episode ability.

Version 2.6 is available on the App Store. Library Manager 2.6.1 is also available for download from http://www.10muse.net.

Scanning (with analyze) and exporting with '10Muse Library Manager 2.6.1' or newer required. For already users, and since a scan of more than 20 Movies will not re-analyze, there is a new option under Settings 'Scanner always analyzes'. Scan all Movies and TV-Shows with this option checked. Then export.

As always your comments about the new features are very valuable.

The assistant is only for movies, not for TV-Shows.

for 'Downton Abbey' you don't need to change to mkv, folder rips will work fine. All your episodes should be in a folder named 'Downton Abbey' (root or any subfolders). Their filename should include one of the supported strings (look in Library Manager for 'Possible Paths'). 'S0_D0' is not supported.

Example path that will work:
TVShowsSharedFolder\Downton Abbey\Season 2 (optional)\DOWNTON_ABBEY_S02_E03\VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS.IFO

The new assistant (2.6.1 and newer) will not present video files inside folders that have been added as TV-Series.

Coming next is a redesign of the Library Manager part of TV-Shows with 3 objectives:
- Faster updating
- Not requiring re-scanning after updating
- Custom episodes

That will be a complete redesign since the underlying data model needs to be changed. I can't give a release date, dimension is weeks.

Love the new theme.

But I do have one question... where is the IMDb link thing in the movie detail? The app does not show it anywhere.

EDIT- Never mind... found it. You have to turn it on first in the system settings.
