Hi - If I put this on my server, does it run automatically and backup the backup database after the WHS backup runs, or is it a manual process?

Its a manual process that you set to do backups when you feel the need or when something you feel is important enough that you want to create another backup. Its truely a wonderful add-in. I have used it to recover my client data base of which there are some clients not here on site so those I worry most about so when they come back and I perform a backup its then that I use BDBB to create another backup image.

Hope this clears things up....

Thanks Tony,

Just to confirm. I've checked both "duplication boxes" (BDBB an WHS). I have two 1.5 TB drives. How will the "backup occur? Where is the add in it putting them? Is the main PC backup file on one drive them add in on the other drive ? How can I tell?

I'm new to WHS. Im using Squeezebox on my server and using it for backups. Anything else you suggest ?

Duplication is not a backup. You must click the "Backup" button to create a backup of your client backup database. More discussion on the reasons why I prefer to not use the Duplication options are in the Wiki.
