I stumbled accross this backup solution while reading about the ASUS TS Mini.

It seems to work fine and, unlimited storage for $39.99 per year can't be beat by anything else curently avalible.

Thanks for the lead Chris. I'm going to give this a test run and see how it works. I'd be interested in hearing from any other users who have been using it.

Haha, I came across the same thing and did download the software but did not install it to my EX470 or EX490 to check it out. I'll give the install a try, now that I see this post.

Signed up for it and giving the free 1 GB account a try. I'm currently uploading a share that has 1 GB in it. The Asus servers seems a bit slow on the upload and my internet connection is pretty quick upstream (5 Mbps). At its current rate, it looks like an upload speed of 1 GB/10 hours. For me that means about 30 days straight of uploading to get my stuff safely uploaded. Not good compared to Amazon S3 where it took about 1/3 or less of that time to upload it all to S3. But, S3 does cost me a lot more than the Asus would.

Also, I do not see where you can set the time of day that it does the uploads. For Jungle Disk, the old WHS version, I set what times it uploads new files and have it set for early am hours of the night when there is generally no activity so as not to drag down my network.
