We've now fixed that issue and have posted 1.0.0.12 to the Add-Ins Page

Nice update thanks for the effort here.

The Rate Me link to WHSPlus is broken, I had to find it manually over there to give you 5 stars...

I have just got round to trying 1.0.0.12 as I wasn't sure my mobile device would cope with it. I can report that it works absolutely fine on the Blackberry Bold 9000. This may be relevant, but my web browsing on the Blackberry is proxied through our Blackberry Enterprise Server.

One small point was that I had to log in as a remote user to access (this is a good thing) with the default setup. However, there was no means to log out again. I am running Remote Alert and so that showed an ongoing remote session even though I was no longer accessing Health. Is there any chance of a logout button?

BTW, works very well on my LG Voyager cell phone and in the Opera browser on my Wii.

Keep up the good work!

Jim

Hi there,

New user of WHS Health and like the capabilities, however, I would like to request that an option be added for those of use that move our sites to different tcp ports -- I edit the config xml files to add the port and the next time I login to the console the plugin re-writes the configs undoing the changes...

If you can add a couple of registry entries for ports (http/https) that would be great.

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike, do you mean you edit the websites.xml in the /Home and /Remote directories, and your values get overwritten? I'm surprised to hear this, are you using the latest 1.0.0.12 version?

Hi Yakuza,

Yes... I edit the websites.xml in both directories and the next time I go into the config settings, it seems to revert them back to what is displayed in the tool config page. I am using the 1.0.0.12 version.

Edited before entering the settings for WHSHealth
<WebSite name="WebGuide" uri="/WebGuide" imageUrl="/WebGuide/favicon.ico" absolute="false" />
<WebSite name="WHS Health" uri="javascript:window.location='https://'+location.hostname+':600/health'" Url="/health/images/WHSHealth_Logo.png" absolute="true" />
<WebSite name="FirePlay" uri="https://xxxxxxxxxxx.homeserver.com:600/fireplay/" imageUrl="icons\FirePlay.ico" absolute="true" />

Takes a few seconds to load the config page... then when I go and look at the xml file I have the below...

<WebSite name="WebGuide" uri="/WebGuide" imageUrl="/WebGuide/favicon.ico" absolute="false" />
<WebSite name="FirePlay" uri="https://xxxxxxxxxxx.homeserver.com:600/fireplay/" imageUrl="icons\FirePlay.ico" absolute="true" />
<WebSite name="WHS Health" uri="javascript:window.location='https://'+location.hostname+'/health'" imageUrl="/health/images/WHSHealth_Logo.png" absolute="true" />

It looks like the dll is just overwriting what is in there each time rather than reading it and adjusting... also it doesn't show the changed port in the config tool.

Mike

Yup, you're best off by unchecking the "Add to websites" checkbox, clicking Apply, then making your change, since you don't want the WHS Health Add-In to modify your websites files.

Nifty little Add-In...thanks guys!

Question for you though if I may...without wishing to butcher your hard work is it possible to remove all instances of the Back button at the bottom of each page and move the Copyright line up a bit closer to the Last Updated line please?

And if so...how?

I have found the Health directory but that is about the limit of my knowledge!

For me the white back button at the bottom of each & every page spoils the look & feel and seems redundant as you can just hit the Index button at the top left to achieve the same result.

Thanks & regards,
-=Glyn=-

I hear you on that; will make those changes and wrap them into the next release with the Logout button. The Index button will get renamed Back as well to make it consistent; but those will take a while whilst I'm with Alex in Seattle.
