I'd better leave it where it is then!

If/when a newer version comes along is it recommended to uninstall the existing Add-In before installing the new one or?

Thanks & regards,

Yes, you'll always want to uninstall the old version before installing the new.

Bit of a newbie to WHS. I have installed three add-ins PHP, MySQL and Wordpress. I go through the install rpoces and everything seems to work falwlessly (Great Add-Ins).

I logoff and come back some time later usually about an hour. I try to log back into my blog and receive a PHP access violation? at 01B4ABDA. All the info I have found states that it is an IIS6 issue, but I can't seem to find the resolution.

Is there an IIS6 parm I need to tweak to stop this from happening?

hi there!

is there any work around for this issue with the german WHS versions?
Or do we need to wait until this is fixed?

If you need some help reg. debug or anything...let me know!

I havent been able to confirm where this issue lies, the php forums seem to be littered with these and I can't find a definitive fix yet. I'm going to try a release tonight which cleared my access violation error and also resolves the german install problem by getting the installer out of the program files area. I was seeing these on an EX47x machine and so were a few others so it might just be conflicting with some other stock program?

Thanks! There will be a release tonight of an installer that works on all languages, apologies for the delay but I've been testing this on lots of different language WHS to make sure I catch all of the potential issues. All of the stuff I do in the installer was localised, but there are some IIS scripts that were not, and it's taken some time to get those into a more generic format. I'm also moving the installer to c:\php5 rather than c:\program files\php (or c:\programme\php) following the recommended install instructions rather than MS best practice. [-X

I did appear to figure it out over the past day what the problem was. I had installed the Microsoft FastCGI. I replaced it with the PHP version in the WEB Extensions. and Wa, LA works fine now.

DO you have a template for creating Add-Ins I have some ideas and would like to see if I can put a cpuple together.

Thanks again fro thegreat add-in.

I've uploaded 1.04 which resolves the non English language installer issues I was having. Many thanks to all of you that tested it out for me today!

The installer for this, and other Add-Ins from Mediasmartserver.net can be found at http://www.mediasmartserver.net/add-ins/

I finally got this error and have had some time to look at it. Can you try renaming c:\program files\mysql\bin\libmysql.dll to libmysql.dll and restart the server? In my case it seems to conflict with the one from PHP and doing that resolves the issue for me.

Glad we can help. If you feel inclined to donate something, by all means put something to a charity of your choice.

I had had the same problem, although mine seem to be related to using the Microsoft Fastcgi module. When I changed to use the PHP cgi module the problem did go away.
