I have the Free HP MSS app for the iphone but found it was a bit pants...

I then stumbled accross this http://blog.compugeeksoftware.com/blog/whs-mobile/ Not sure if its still available but i can browse any shared folder on my MSS and stream or download files too... Its prone to random crashes through...

Ooooh, thanks for the URL share! I've been looking for something like this for years. Too bad it isn't actively supported anymore but I'll still play with it when I get home.

I'd love to find an solid add-in/app that would let me control my WHS via Ipad2 that would ALSO allow streaming of my video content without tedious, on-the-fly transcoding to the limited formats Apple supports. Currently use Splashtop Remote to do this but as it's only a RDP replacement, it doesn't have the sexy integration/appeal a focused add-in/app combo would ideally have.

while it is still downloadable it is no longer supported by the developer. There is a bug when you first set it up for the port in the app. I would suggest you read his comment section under the newest version. He doesnt solve the issue but some fans do. the program is a little buggy, I cant get all the features to work. it would have been a nice app if someone would have kept it up. oh well.
