Let us know if you truly got 5.0 of TPS. The Add-in I received for 5.0 level directly from McAfee (URL in my original post) is still labelled 4.9.2...; however, it really put in 5.0

In the "About" link on the McAfee tab, it still shows 4.9.2. Is that were you are seeing 5.0? Perhaps I will try to reinstall with a different .msi file.

I downloaded one that was linked a littler earlier in the thread, but the properties of that also indicated that it was a 4.9.x version, so I didn't bother.

The "5.0" information is directly from McAfee Tech Support. Even though the Add-in is labelled otherwise.

When I go to the Settings Tab and select the "Add-Ins" icon, the version states 4.9.2.132.

I also run the Advanced Admin Console Add-in. With it, I can drop down to see the actual WHS desktop and right click on the McAfee Icon in the System Tray. In the About it says Version 4.9.2.321 there.

So, as you can see, McAfee is nothing if not inconsistent...

I just checked the version I had, in order to launch an update, but in the "About" section of the Console's McAfee page, it is written: Product version: 5.0.0.648 Patch 003. Well it updated automatically. This thing should normally behave in this manner. :|

That sure is weird. I performed an update and received a notice that I was totally up-to-date at the 4.9.2.321 level.

You have a totally different Add-in version (other than being in French).

Yeh! Wonder what version others have. I got it originally with the first HP upgrade. It still is the same, buying the licence after the try-out period just required the add-in actualization (not a simple process, by the way, not well documented by then  ).
