If I remove the add in for this ( TopWHSaddin.msi ) will the mediastreamer still work for music, pictures and video? I'm running the the 485 with the new update.

And what is this add in for? PVConnectMediaServer.msi

Do I need either of these?

TopWHSAddin is the old streamer, you will want to keep the PVConnectMediaServer as it is responsible for the remote streaming.

TopWHSAddin.msi is McAfee Total Protection for WHS.

Yes, if you're going to use on-line streaming and/or iPhone iStream.

WHS ClamAV has just detected and quarantined "PVConnectMediaServer.msi" and another file, as follows:

C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\HP MediaSmart Server\PVConnectMediaServer.msi: Trojan.Agent-165325 FOUND
C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\HP MediaSmart Server\PVConnectMediaServer.msi: moved to 'C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\.clamwin\quarantine\PVConnectMediaServer.msi.infected'
C:\WINDOWS\Installer\29f36174.msi: Trojan.Agent-165325 FOUND
C:\WINDOWS\Installer\29f36174.msi: moved to 'C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\.clamwin\quarantine\29f36174.msi.infected'

Should I simply ignore this? I'm accessing my server remotely!

I have the ex490 and have not been accessing it or doing anything with it since I upgraded WHS ClamAV from the previous version to the latest version (0.1.6) about three weeks ago.

Thanks ;-) :mss:
