Does anyone have any opinions and/or experience with this add in?

I suspect that I have numerous duplicated photos and think it might be worth trying.

Thanks in advance.

I have used that (successfully) and am now experimenting with the "Duplication Info" Add-In. The latter SEEMS a bit more flexible (for my purposes) but I am not yet ready to automate anything with either one. (Paranoia maybe? Need to be "in control"?)

You can try it. It didn't impress me when I tried it.

I gave this a go yesterday. Functionality wise, it's great as it does what it says on the tin. It finds duplicates and allows you to choose which duplicate to delete. It identifies them using hashes of the file (so doesn't matter if the file name is different).

However, I do not recommend it for the following reasons:

It is very slow (it took ages to go through only 20GB of data).
When it is finding duplicates, it grinds WHS to a halt.
There is no way to cancel it once you have started it.
There is no progress bar (only a label to indicate it is getting hashes).
There is no way to configure what directories or sub-directories to work on.

If the above is fixed then I think it could be a very valuable add-in.
