Are you using our WHS Add-In for the installation? What problem are you having? Any error messages?

Hi,

Yes. I installed add-ins: WHS PHP Installer first then I installed MySQL Installer for WHS.

I am trying to follow these steps to run LandFX from my WHS:

1. Install MySQL to WHS:
http://www.mediasmartserver.net/add-ins/#WHSMySql

2. Export landfx database from current landfx workstation
- Open Command Prompt on current land fx server. Type: cd C:\\Program Files\\MySQL\\MySQL Server 5.1\\bin
- From that directory you want to type: mysqldump -uroot -plandfx landfx > c:/landfxdump.sql
(This will create a landfxdump.sql file in C:\\)

3. Create Land F/X database and ODBC user in WHS
- From the WHS MySQL GUI, configure a database called landfx
- From the WHS MySQL GUI, configure a user for the landfx database called ODBC (all caps) will full permission

4. Importing Land F/X database into WHS MySQL
- Import landfxdump.sql into new landfx database on WHS

5. Update workstations server locations
- Update Data Source Server name from james-e6gv74oeh to WHS using instructions below
(Update Data Source: http://landfx.com/documentation/doku.ph ... ata_source)

I am getting stuck on number 3 as I don't know how to create the database and user.

When I use https://servername/pma....all i get a webpage asking for a username and password. I used 'administrator' with no password. It takes me into a page but in the "Database" tab there is a section for MySQL Database and i have not permission.

How do i set permissions?

Any help will be great appreciated.

Thanks,
Fred

default admin account is root with no password if you haven't changed it.
