Hello,

I just restored my HP EX 485 to ver 3.0 and installed the php & mysql admin. I am using one of the existing databases that I used to use in when this machine was running v2.5.

Since the install I am not able to access the phpMyAdmin module in https://server/pma it seems like the https service is not running. I am not sure what I have to do from the WHS perspective to run the https service. when I try to acess http://server/test.php seems like php is installed properly.

Any thoughts? This is a clean install with nothing more in it. The firewall ports for http & https are open. I even tried to turn off the firewall, but to no avail. For some weird reason the webserver on https is just not running or is not accessible. I just think I may go back to 2.5 at this rate.

Thanks,
Gundan

I found the issue and it has been resolved. My EX485 was running v2.5 initially, and I upgraded to v3.0. When I was running v2.5 I had remote access configured with a specific hostname under the microsoft provided dns host.

When I upgraded over, the settings were carried over although the ssl certificate was never generated and registered for IIS to run properly. Once I released the domain and reregistered it again the proper SSL certificates were generated and IIS started functioning properly.

All's well now.
