I need some help. I used the addin to install wordpress on my whs. It's working great but is 2.8.4. I am wondering about updating since I used the addin. I tried automatically update to latest version and then nothing worked. Is there a special procedure when using addin, am I stuck with 2.8.4 until a new addin comes out or am I just a moron. Thanks so much in advance.

It should be able to upgrade automatically via the Wordpress dashboard. I've just installed the Add-In on a test box, and chosen the upgrade from the Dashboard and its worked fine for me. What errors do you get?

To be honest I can't remember. I did it about 2 weeks ago and could no longer get to my site so I had to re-do it. I backed up db today and tried again and it worked perfectly so not sure what happened before but all is ok. Yea, I can use the latest widgets and themes.
