All,

My EX485 was continually rebooting I my original thought was that the system drive was dead. Replaced tried to do recovery. Ended up being bad power suply which was replace via an Out of Warranty Repair by HP for the small price of $45.

I ended up going with the new System drive as it was a bit larger than the 750GB drive the MSS came with. Copied all data - Music, Movies, and Photos - back into the server. The only thing I think I'm missing at this point are the backups of the clients. This includes a long since dead desktop that had the bulk of the data.

I cant seem to find these backups anywhere to copy them back into the server. Is there a way to do this? (I do have all 3 original drives, so I guess I could theoretically put them all back in their original slots. Don't know why I didn't just do that when the server came back...)

Thanks for any help.

The backup database is stored on the server in D:\folders\{00008086-058D-4C89-AB57-A7F909A47AB4}. You can review the instructions from Microsoft on how to backup and restore the backup DB.
