Since moving down to Cali for my internship I've been able to enjoy some deals in hdd from fry's. I have replaced 2 of my 1.5tb seagate drives with the seagate lp 2tb drives. The 1.5 drives were purchased right when they came out an have had the firmware update installed so they don't brick. The fact I have had to update the firmware has made me a little nervous, I have calmed down a little since I haven't heard of any other issues since the updated firmware was released. So now that I have my 3 spare slots full of 5900 rpm drives I was wondering if I should use one of the 7200 drives as the system drive or just get another lp drive? Currently the system drive is a 1tb drive. I'm looking to give myself as much compacity as I can on the main machine an put these drives in a esata enclosure for folder dup an backup storage. Will the faster drive gain me anything at all? I do stream videos to my PS3 an appletv to give u an idea how I use my server.

Just thought it might help out with the boot times a little.

Would probably help a little, but the server rarely reboots when things are working well, maybe only a couple times a month at most.
