Good price! I jumped on one a few days ago when NewEgg dropped from 499 to 450 shipped, but your deal is better and the return/exchange policy with HP (should you need it) is far superior. You might want to post this in the HD deals thread in the general section for more visibility. These deals come and go quickly, so if anyone is interested act fast....

Have you checked with Bing Cashback? I know a few days ago they were at 25% Cashback reward. For those that are not aware of Bing Cashback, it was once called Live Cashback. It is owned by Microsoft and basically encourages customers to purchase items from preferred vendors through Microsoft's search service (it's called Bing). Do a search for Bing Cashback and you should have answers you need. Beware that you usually cannot combine coupons with the Cashback. Enjoy. :sanjuan:

Just a heads up, I posted this at Slickdeals.net and it's been quite popular, hopefully we get some new members to the site too! 8)

I like to sometimes go to ebay and see how crazy some people can be. I can't believe the price people are paying for used mediasmart servers when they can buy it new and cheaper. Even the older 470 & 475 are going for more than I would have guessed.

I guess some people like to take their chances and like stuff already burned-in!

What would you consider too much for a EX470? I paid $275.00 for mine with a 500gb system and 750gb 2nd drive.

I've seen them go for much higher than that recently... I think it is the bidding game that people get into... Just another dollar and I got it... It gets them in the end. ROFL
