Post subject:  MediaSmart Server Tutorials and Tips

This will serve as a growing list of tutorials/hacks/tips for users to modify their MediaSmart Server. Please post here if you find new ones that I should add and I'll update the list.

Post subject:  New Changing ports tutorial

Hi Alex, just wanted to tell you there is a new tutorial on changing the ports in the Mediasmart server on http://MyHomeServer.com. This tutorial goes into depth on not only changing the ports, but also editing the default.htm redirector, adding new ports to the Windows Firewall, and finally, editing the TZO Web Relay so it all works with the new port.

Hope to get this tutorial listed here in the list of tutorials

Thanks!

I know there are some MS MVP mega brains around here. Certainly there has got to be a way to straighten this out without rebuilding my entire server!

P.S., this is exactly the kind of thing I was worried might happen which is why I specifically asked if it was okay.

Is this perhaps in the wrong topic? It's not clear to me what you're getting at. :)
