Got my EX470 in today along with my shiny new 1TB drives. And wouldn't you know it? The Server Recovery DVD is bad. Tried it in 3 different PC's.

HP is mailing me a new one, should arrive in a week. :roll:

They could at least make this stuff downloadable off of their website.

i dont know about the HP software. But iv herd there is a copy of the windows home server out on torrents. Im not sure if you can install a OEM copy on the HP. It would not have the HP software. But since you payed for home server i dont see it being against the law to try.

But since the HP is headless I doubt it would work.

I think an standard server restore disk wouldn't include the extra HP stuff. I saw them on the newsgroups a few weeks back.

If you can't wait, let me know and I can upload it somewhere for you.

Thank you very much for the offer, but I think I'll be okay. I'll just do a reset when the new DVD arrives. Thankfully WHS is good like that. :)
