I am not sure on if it is win10 64 bit or what.
But in my case I have been using a win10/64bit pro to use storage spaces. Then back them up on my ex490 with whsv1.
I don't know the limit but I hit a roadblock where viewing backups where the file count is well over 10,000 files.
The error I get is permission denied.
On folders where the file count is less I can view them.
It used to work fine but I add files like every few days.
I tried the credentials manager but no go.

Only when I offloaded 2tb of data when it allowed me to view and use backups for the offending folders in backups.
The reason I found this quirk was I purchased a READYNAS and was intent on using the backups to restore to the nas recycling the drives I had in windows storage spaces.
So I had to revert to using spare drives to offload data until the backup was usable to copy the rest of the media files.

FYI my total storage space was 11TB so subtract the mirror and I had 5.5TB of
media data. Still had like 1.5TB free space.

So There you go.

Moving on.
Still working on the migration.

Darn'it WHS V1 gets a little dustier every day.
Will miss it when it's gone, but great heads up!

My 10 clients backups are just under 500gig. (Win7 32 bit) and (win7 64 pro) and (Win7 preium 64bit) and (Vista 64bit).
I try to just keep the last two days for backups, I go in weekly and clean them out.
Thx
Good Luck and Enjoy.
