Has anybody applied this patch on WHS V1?
Since WHS V1 is built on Win server 2003 x86.
http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB4012598

I do not have my server open for outside access and do not browse on it, I don't believe I really need to apply this patch?

But, wondered if anybody had and if you had any problems after a reboot.
I have seen where some say "no Problem" but I have also seen where some win2003 end up with netlogin service problems.

Good luck to all.

I don't have my server open either but in essence it could become infected if you download something directly from the server or browse to a page from the server which I avoid as much as I can.
Instead I download it from a pc and then place it in a share folder.
I also use trendmicro multiuser on all my pc's and include the server as a pc.
It is not a addin to the console so on occasion I need to remote connect to the server to check.
Trendmicro does have a ransomware check.

I rdp in and ran windows update on the server and it came up with nothing.
I have the patch downloaded, but am not going to run it on my "main", I may break out one of the backup servers and see what happens. :-)
I run Malwarebytes on all my clients which has a Ransomeware detection, so not to worried about it.

I like keeping things patched, but not in the mood to fight it if it goes south, the way Microsoft has been pushing out bad updates, don't trust them. lololol

yep I was notified by mymovies that a upcoming microsoft update will break the database it uses.
Fortunately mymovies released a update to address the issue before microsoft updated my pc.
It only affected you if you were on win 10.
