Do you guys use Media Collector? It's not working that well for me on videos. Music and Photos work fine. Video Collector doesn't collect ISO (Maybe it's not supposed to) or DVR-MS, a supported format. Sometimes it doesn't collect anything.

I am thinking that just copying all my movies and other videos over from the external drive would be as easier. An additional benefit would be that the folder structure would be several folders less deep.

What do you think?

I had bad luck with it too, so I don't use it at all and just copied the files over as you suggest, especially as I can maintain my own file structure as well.

I tried to use it, it was grinding on 1 movie for hours, I didn't figure it would ever finish so I turned it off and didn't look back.
I just drag n drop the movies after they are ripped n converted.

Turned it off the same day i got the server. It did not work for me either.
