I’m still running version 1 on my WHS, does everything I want except it doesn’t seem to get the MPAA rating.

I am running the current version. Its one program that just works and doesn’t require much of my time. The one interesting thing is the website it creates which I find useful if I am out buying movies to add to my collection. It helps me not to purchase duplicate movies and is faster then logging on to the server with my cell phone just to review the movies in the folders.

The collection of the metadata is fairly quick often when I move my rips to the server the metadata appears shortly after the movies are added to the server. Sometimes the information is not correct so from time to time I need to go through things but for the most part I am happy with it.

I am not an expert in working with this software and often fumble around a bit with it but because for the most part it just works its basically a set it an forget it application but I did notice my subscription expires in May so its one thing I must not forget.

Damian,

Did you get this installed on the new server and if so is there anything I might need to know before installing it?

Damian April 29, 2013 at 10:42 am

Yes, installed it. I got a java or some random error at first, but since then it has been running without a hitch, no issues renaming files when copied over or adding metadata. I still need to dig through some of these new features to test out, but so far so good

Edit: Doh, wrong comment for wrong product.

@Alex ~ Been there done that and as you age it becomes a more frequent occurrence.

@ Damian ~ Thanks I will proceed to install it and get it configured which is always a fumbling task for me but once done it just runs. The little website it creates is useful only active tho during a logon.
