I have released an update to Remote Notification that includes a small bug fix plus several new statistics to the Daily Reports. Here is a list of what has changed in the new version:
- Bug: Client Health errors in Daily Reports now correctly display Red instead of Yellow
- Feature: Client Backups “Last good backup” time in Daily Reports now displays “Never Backed Up” instead of Jan 1 1601
- Feature: Daily Reports now display Available and Total amount of both physical memory and virtual memory
- Feature: Daily Reports now display additional Windows Update statistics: Last installed date, Last checked for updates date, and Reboot required
- Feature: Changes to the Remote Notification service to speed up start time
You can download the update here, and if you are upgrading from a previous version there is a guide on how to upgrade here.

Doing stuff like this is how you gain instant sex appeal
I am currently evaluating this and it does almost everything i need. I have 2 macbooks that i backup on whs. Any way possible to get notifcations on their backups?
Hi Steve, are you using Time Machine to back up to your WHS? I actually have something in the works on this but am not at a point where I can discuss details yet.
I am. I’m late learning about whs but i am using it to back up 5 machines and and 2 macbooks (using Timemachine). Next steps is for me to pull my webpage off the laptop i’m using to host it and putting it on the whs. Learning slowly, but so far its doing what i want. Thank you for all you do
