When HP released the Data Vault X310 it was for North America only, and customers around the rest of the world were feeling left out. HP has remedied that by recently releasing to Europe the X311 which is identical to the X310 we have here in the US. You can read my review of the X310 here, and learn more about the X311 courtesy of Andrew over at UsingWindowsHomeServer.com, where he shows UK retailer LambdaTek offering the X311 for just under £360.

MediaMrkt, a major German retailer has announced a limited time special promotion on the HP X300 Data Vault. The X312 has 2x1TB hard drives and is offered at 399 Euro, while the X315 has 2X1TB and 2×1.5TB drives for 599 Euro. Aside from the drive capacities, these models are the same as the HP X311 Data Vault. Our German readers can learn more about this from the German www.Home-Server-blog.de.
