WHS Health has had some major restructuring recently, so much so we have a new co-Author joining the team in Neil Edwards. We’ve taken the feedback from the current version, and added some new features.
Version 1.0.0.14 now has the following key changes:-
- A Logoff button has been added when viewing over HTTPS
- The drives page has been improved, it’s now bigger and has status icons.
- Status icons have been added to the Backups, Drives and Shared Folders pages.
- Translation of XML Date format into a more popular format (the installer will pick MM/DD/YYYY for US systems and DD/MM/YYYY for other)
- The units Serial Number has been removed from the System Information page.
- The large Back button at the bottom of each page has been removed.
The biggest change we have made to WHS Health is localization; we now dynamically support English, French, German, Japanese and Spanish based on the system or browser language settings.

Each of the above images have been taken from my Windows Home Server running in English locale, my iPhone had it’s locale changed to each of the different languages and no other modifications made to the pages for the screen-shots. The URL of http://servername/health or https://servername/health remain consistent for all languages, it really is that dynamic.
As you would expect, localization also exists for the WHS Console Settings page but these are based on the language of the Windows Home Server and as such are not dynamic.

I tried it on my BlackBerry Bold 9700 and was able to read all of the Health directories from my media server
