A blog commenter by the name of Matt has posted that a change was made to fix a misconfigured entry in the iTunes store and that the iStream application should now be available for install on the v1 iPod Touch. Can anyone confirm this?
Update: I have a few more details on this. If you have a 1st gen iPod Touch and you previously installed iStream, you should remove the downloaded app from iTunes and re-download it. Note that it does require the iPod Touch firmware upgrade (the one that users had to pay for) that came out late last year, the 1st gen touch will need firmware 2.2.1.

I have a 1st gen iPod Touch and I can confirm the application is working just fine for me.
I have a hp homserver setup at home. I actually setup the server on an Acer system. i built it myself. I am having problems connecting my iphone with the istream app. it is not connecting ot my server. Is it because i dont actually have the HP server or so i need to install a certain software on my server?
Yes, that has now been corrected. Glad that HP sorted that out.
