Microsoft has another big announcement today, with the news that Windows Home Server is now (officially this time!) available for download on MSDN/Technet.

I’m hopeful this will broaden the exposure of Windows Home Server, as it seems once people get an idea of what this product is capable of they really do love it. And more add-in developers would be a great thing, there’s a number of missing pieces of functionality that are just waiting for some skilled developers to fill.

Forum member Loren and I even got a little bit of love for having been the first to break the news publicly last week, thanks again Loren! :)

MSDN is available here, however you’ll need an MSDN or Technet subscription to download the software and get a product key.
