A former Hewlett Packard colleague, John Agosta, has contacted me to let me know that he has recently started a consulting business named Adaptable Technology Solutions with one of his focuses being Windows Home Server product development services. A bit of info on John and his experience from his website:

John Agosta, CEO of Adaptable Technology Solutions, was an original forerunner that developed the industry leading HP MediaSmart Server. As Senior Program Director, John was responsible for the full product life cycle and end-to-end delivery of the HP MediaSmart Server from original product conception through retail availability.

As the Senior Alliance Manager for Microsoft, John was also responsible for defining core Windows Home Server operating system features, and negotiating HP’s corporate level license agreements with Microsoft. His experience also includes working with outsourced partners around the world including Taiwanese designers and Chinese manufacturers.

I worked closely with John my entire time at HP, and found him to be hard working and dedicated to the successful development of the MediaSmart Server. If you’re an OEM looking to develop a Windows Home Server product, I think John could give you a great head-start and make your launch faster, easier, and more successful.

I was the Lead Test and Integration Engineer at HP for the MediaSmart Server until April 2008 when I moved on to other opportunities outside HP. I've kept active in the Windows Home Server community, creating several add-ins and helping users make the most of their Home Servers.
