Before the update, I had a problem with the backups failing at 0%. It would start and then almost immediately fail with an error message that the machine “failed to create a volume snapshot.” This happened on 2 of my 4 machines on a regular basis. Now, after the update, all backups are succeeding 100% of the time (so far).

Since this update all my connected network drives have turned red indicating there is not enough space available on the MSS.
But in reality there is 1.2TB available (of 445MB)

MSS 475 4×500MB 1MB memory Vista Home Premium

Hi David, can you start a forum thread on this topic with as much detail as you can? I’d like to get more info so we can perhaps troubleshoot and get useful debug info to Microsoft.

We got rid of the 79% fault but it fails at 81% now, that’s on three PCs
